She holds a BA in Music Education - Strings, K-12 and studied classical guitar throughout her college education. She has taught music in the public/charter school system and as a private instructor.

During her college years, Lise played and sang in several successful music groups. She was an original member and primary keys player, 2nd guitarist and co-vocalist in Surrender Dorothy out of Boulder, CO. She also was one of the (3) front female singers in the big band After the Fire. In addition, Lise was a member in the 5-piece accapella vocal group Our Mother's Daughter's out of Ft. Collins, CO. During the 80's and early 90's Lise sang and/or played keys with several other professional bands as a "stand-in" player; The Lonna Miller Band (corporate show band) & The Dirty Blondes (accapella group).

In addition, she holds an Associates degree in Early Childhood Development and Preschool Directorship certification.

She formerly performed in the 5-piece classic rock band SHAKY GROUND. She was 2nd guitarist and vocalist.

The band was well-known in Prescott where they performed frequently on Whiskey Row. The group also played for many City of Prescott held events such as the 4^th of July celebration at Pioneer Park and corporate events. SHAKY GROUND came in first place in the Battle of the Bands in May of 2007. The group represented the Wolf radio station. They did many shows affiliated with the Wolf.

Her love and true calling is the guitar and has now been playing for over 40 years. Lise is most known and recognized for her GUITAR teaching. She is qualified to teach all styles; classical, rock, blues, etc.

Lise also teaches VOICE (American Idol style), PIANO (classical / pop / piano bar style), and how to be “the musician you dream to be”.

She instructs the school's PIANO CLASSES, string changing classes, composition and theory classes, “TEEN ROCK BAND”, Children's Angel Choir and other vocal groups in addition to running the school.

a non-profit organization that is committed to finding & providing financial support, in the form of scholarships, to children wishing to study music & whose families are suffering financial hardship.
