THE TEACHER

Lise holds a BA in Music Education - Strings, K-12 and studied classical guitar throughout her college education. She has taught music in the public / charter school system and as a private instructor for over 30 years.

Her music education started at age 7 studying both classical piano and violin well into her 20’s. She discovered the guitar at age 11 and was self taught until she decided to get serious and study guitar during college.

In addition, Lise holds an AA in Early Childhood Development & earned her certified Pre-school Directorship before she attended the 4 year college for the BA.

Her love and true calling is the guitar and she is most recognized for her “brutally effective” guitar teaching style. She has now been playing for over 40 years.

She also teaches voice and classical / pop piano and how to be “the musician you dream to be”.
